Doe Demure's Glamour Ghoul School is a concoction of Fusion belly dance, Burlesque and spook. The name is a nod to goth icons such as vintage vamp Vampira, and Elvira Mistress of the Dark (with her camp "Carry On" humour). Project themes vary from embodying the enchanting allure of the Siren, to darker themes exploring the raw emotion of persecuted Magick sisters.

DARK MANSION- PSYCHOBILLY FAN DANCE
FUSION BELLYDANCE VIDEO PROJECT
We’ll combine feather fan work and fusion bellydance with a tickle of wild psychobilly energy!
All the chaos will be filmed for a video project at the derelict spooky Antwerp Mansion!
It's best to have your own feather fans (you'll need something to learn with) but there will be some pairs available to borrow if needed for the filming day. We will lean into the chaos and accept any colour & medium-to-large size of fan (so bigger than the small palm sized fans used for fanning your face, though these can be used for practice)
Videos will be provided for online learning atleast 4 weeks before filming day.

Learn Doe's Acid Rain/Living Dead Girl mash-up (as seen at Gothla UK 2025)
This heart stopping choreography begins with a raw, anguished, hip-hop style cheer routine (in the style of the original Lorn: Acid Rain music video), before switching the mood entirely for some stomping, salacious, and brain munching zombie bad behaviour!
The routine will feature a t-shirt/vest removal (provided for you)- but a crop top/bra can be worn underneath, or a nipple pastie reveal is welcome too! You will be asked at checkout to provide your t-shirt size- this is just so Doe can get an idea of the size range needed within the group and you will have the opportunity to check the garment measurements before the order is placed.
Videos provided for online learning atleast 4 weeks before filming day.

DERELICT PHOTOSHOOT
A 2.5 hour group photoshoot gives you the opportunity to shoot in multiple locations around the abandoned building. How about the peeling ballroom, winding staircase, neon graffiti bathroom stalls, or the spooky cellar?
Photoshoot packages include a choice of your 5 favourite photos to be professionally edited, with more available to purchase if you can't decide (which is likely!)
Photographers are Doe's handpicked favourites. We can't promise you a choice of your favourite due to working around video project bookings, but we can promise you'll get a trusted professional.
Editing: photo edits include light retouching and colour correcting, not heavy body modification unless this is something you ask for.

MAN Manchester airport is about 20 minute taxi ride from the venues
Luther King House (Friday 25th September rehearsal venue) has rooms available to book- it's not fancy and there are no lifts, but it's the most convenient location and includes a continental breakfast. The cheapest option is to share a twin room with a friend or you may find other cheaper options elsewhere in Manchester
Projects are aimed at intermediate level dancers who are comfortable learning independently with video tutorials. Fusion bellydancers should be competent at foundational vocabulary and layering. Burlesque dancers should have good stage presence/performance skills and an attention to body position/alignment.
Absolutely! No experience is necessary to book onto a photoshoot- most dancers are able to apply their dance skills wonderfully to photoshoots and bring creative ideas. Our photographers are experienced in helping new models get the best out of their shoot
Projects will have specific costume requirements but we aim to keep costs to a minimum and to ensure they are suitable for all body types within the project
Doe will be filming with the help of her team, possibly even you. the dancers! Videos will be professional standard 4K footage
